about

"Empire" is originally a Bomb the Bass song featuring Sinead O'Connor and Benjamin Zephaniah. It's first released on the album "Clear" in 1995.
While in lockdown because of the virus, Froggressive Dread Unit made a more dubby version of the track with the vocals of talented singers Özge Ürer (also a member of the reggae/rock band Good Vibes) & Levvera from the upcoming reggae band Bosphoroots and with Murat Tolga on the percussions (also from Bosphoroots).
The song was thought to be a lockdown session video only but by popular demand it is released as a single with instrumental and dub versions on the Istanbul based label: Beton Orman Records.
Vocals and percussions are recorded by each artist at their own home with minimum recording possibilities in lockdown and the song is mixed by Da Frogg and mastered by Da Frogg & Serkan "Monomixer" Köseoglu. The song carries the positive feelings of every member in this tuff times. The single also contains dub versions and remixes from the two members of the dubby electronica and breakbeat project Froggressive Dread Unit: Da Frogg and Alphadub.
